WHAT IS BRICKLAYING?
Bricklaying is a skilled trade that involves construction walls, chimneys, and other structures using bricks, blocks and mortar. It requires precision, attention to detail, and a good understanding of building codes and regulations.

To become a bricklayer, one typically begins by learning the basics through an apprenticeship or vocational training programme. After this, bricklayers must have good knowledge of materials and tools, including bricks/blocks, mortar, trowels, and more. They must also be able to work efficiently and accurately.

Additionally, bricklayers may be responsible for restoring existing buildings. It can involve matching existing bricks, cutting and shaping bricks, and applying specialized finishes.
